Oksana Grigorieva is a renowned singer/songwriter and pianist best known for her outstanding repertoire of musical compositions that have been heralded by fans and the industry at large. She was discovered by Grammy award winning music icon, David Foster.
Her celebrated releases include her collaboration with Josh Groban, “un Día Llegara” released on Groban’s album, “Awake,” along with Oksana’s hit album release, “Beautiful Heartache.” Following her vision for the project, she recruited top musical personnel on the album including drummer Matt Chamberlain (Tori Amos, Pearl Jam), bassist Paul Bushnell (Ednaswap, Faith Hill/Tim McGraw), guitarists Lyle Workman (Sting, Beck) and Greg Suran (Jewel, Five for Fighting) and keyboard player Jamie Muhoberac (Seal, John Mayer, the Rolling Stones). Strings were arranged and conducted by David Campbell (Beck, Radiohead, Green Day, Josh Groban).
The album features tracks co-written by Oksana and Grammy Award nominee, Charlie Midnight (James Brown’s “Living in America”) and Academy Award-winning actor and director Mel Gibson. In addition, Gibson directed four multimedia videos for four of the songs on the album that were featured in her concert performances adding depth to the visual experience for her fans.
Oksana has a new album ‘BASIC’, scheduled to be released in early January 2019 by Bungalo Records with exclusive distribution through Universal Music Group. “We look forward to the upcoming release of Oksana’s new project in 2019. Her collaborations on the upcoming release include work with well known music producer Lloyd Tolbert and an incredible lyricist Tony Haynes. Grammy award winning producer, Damion Elliott has just completed a music video for Oksana entitled Basic to accompany the 2019 release.
